Resistance bands all work in the same way but they are not the same. You can find locked belts or various sizes and strengths, or a straight belt with two ends. The latter will have handles to make it easier to hold. The color of the band is often an indication of how strong it is: blacks and blues tend to give greater resistance to red and green, which is also stronger than yellow. However, this is not always the case, so check that you are buying something that suits your fitness level.

In the workout below, two types of bands are used. A small strap with straps is ready to fit in and place above or below your knees for movements like a glute bridge, while you will need a larger band that can move over your shoulders while standing on it to exercise the body like squares.
